Scene Study Intensive for High School Students

Are you a young theater artist looking to strengthen your craft? Ready for a new challenge? Look no further! In this masterclass style acting intensive, you will learn to take new risks in a safe and supportive environment. We will work on building characters with your voice, body, imagination, and creating a strong ensemble with your classmates.

Amanda Card is an actor, director, and teaching artist from Nashville, Tennessee. As an actor, she has worked with Nashville Children’s Theatre, Nashville Shakespeare Festival, Nashville Repertory Theatre, The Provincetown Tennessee Williams Festival, Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre, Studio Tenn, Actor’s Bridge Ensemble, Pipeline Collective, Verge Theater Company, and Blackbird Theatre. She has worked in Nashville as a teaching artist for over ten years helping facilitate the creation of new work as well as introducing young people to theatre (which is her favorite thing in the world).

First session begins June 9th with new sessions every month!
$100 per 4 week session.

Private Coaching

with Nettie Kraft, MFA

Nettie Kraft, the Artistic Director for Verge Theater Company, graduated with an MFA from Roosevelt University’s CCPA in Chicago where she interned at Steppenwolf with Tracy Letts, Amy Morton, and many other amazing artists on a production of Betrayal, by Harold Pinter. Prior to that, while attaining her BFA from the University of Colorado at Boulder, she worked with the Colorado Shakespeare Festival and began a theatre company which produced six plays in two years and was counted a critical success. She has studied abroad in England, and lived all over the United States. While in the great state of Tennessee she has been in several commercials and seen on stage for the Tennessee Women’s Theatre Project, Actor’s Bridge Ensemble, Rep Aloud,and the Nashville Shakespeare Festival. Currently she is an adjunct professor of theatre at Belmont University, MTSU, Lipscomb University, the Dialect Coach for the TV show “Nashville” and the Education Director for Nashville Shakespeare Festival.
